Request a VRSP

You have decided to join the Industrial Alliance voluntary retirement savings plan (VRSP)? You’ve made the right decision! We’ll be with you every step of the way while setting up your VRSP.

You're an employer

Before you begin

Make sure you have the following information on hand:

Information about the company

  • Name as registered with the Québec enterprise register
  • Business number, if available
  • Payroll Program account Aide
  • Complete address
  • Company's line of business
  • Number of employees
  • Pay frequency

Information about the person in charge of the VRSP administration

  • Name
  • Telephone number
  • Email
  • Language of correspondence

Characteristics of the VRSP

  • Employer contribution rate, if you plan to make contributions (decide if you want to set up the rate the same for all employees)
  • Deduction of withdrawal and transfer fees (decide if you want these fees to be deducted from the member's account or billed to you)
  • Frequency of changes to the employee contribution rate, if you want to allow members to do so more often than twice on a 12 month basis

You're a self-employed worker or individual saver

Before you begin

Make sure you have your social insurance number on hand.
